Labor Day is relief for the end of summer and the beginning of the real school year. A great time for the last big fling of summer vacation.
Cookouts, beach parties, sleeping in, and doing absolutely nothing that is what Labor Day is all about. Time to take a break and rest, relax and enjoy just not being bothered with any chore is the best thing about Labor day.
What came to my mind related to labor was the scripture Matthew 11:28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
If we remember this we can have Labor Day every day. Bringing our cares and issues to Christ daily will lessen the burdens that we carry. Have a Blessed Day because then the “Distance will not be Too Far.”
